Mad Dog:

Each of the last three DLR CD's sold less than 50,000 copies each. His last CD, DLR BAND, sold less than 15,000 copies.

For a former MULTI-PLATINUM SELLING ARTIST, the flame-out was interesting (yet sad) to see.

The new CD is horrible --- true, there are two or three good songs --- such as BAD HABITS and the Steve Miller song --- but his redoing JIMI'S IF 6 WAS 9 and BEATLES TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS --- ugh! That harmonica song was lame, and that piece of shit called ACT ONE --- what the hell was that?!?!?!?

I'll lay a benjamin down with anyone who wants a piece of the action --- that this piece of crap doesn't even chart on the bILLBOARD 200 next week!

Like I said --- DAVID LEE ROTH - THE END?

Most likely, yes!

The guy played in front of 200,000 people at the US FESTIVAL in 1982 --- and the fact that he is playing the little B-B-Q joint in AUSTIN of all places --- is interesting, but sad.

Instead --- I'll keep my memories of all the parties I went to with the VH guys --- before YOKO BERTINELLI entered the picture, that is.

Yes, Mad Dog I do profess PEACE AND PRAYERS --- it is a major part of my moral code. But your suggestion that I extend this to formerly great singers from my past --- remains a mystery to me.

I did not like it --- and that is about the end of it.

Listening to the whole CD was trying --- one or two of these songs might make it to the iPOD --- but, I seriously doubt I will ever listen to the CD in its' entirety again.

Also --- yes, VAN HALEN did blow it big time!

The plan was to do a two-set concert --- with Sammy and Dave holding court during respective sets. Eddie the dick messed up that plan --- and the whole affair ended up as THE SAM AND DAVE SHOW TOUR of last summer.

That final VAN HALEN FAREWELL TOUR would have sold-out STADIUMS. I would have went then --- the time has passed, I wouldn't even consider going now.

Peace and Prayers,
