Y'know Peter, I always find it interesting when I run into non believers who think themselves worthy scriptural authorities to judge the Word of a faith they otherwise disavow where it pertains to themselves, e.g., Jesus stating: "I am the way the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father except by me" or his saying "Ye must be born again" or "(the rich man) in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments,". Is any of that valid for you, or humanity at large?

Anywho...

The issue was health insurance or as you put it: How do you reconcile your demand for what appears to be old fashioned rugged individualism with your adherence to Christianity...

When the books are opened, the village won't be judged, but rather as the scripture points out, we will be judged individually for what we did in this life as an individual.

Too, I wouldn't have any difficulty with collectivized medicine, if their was any evidence that this particular model would accomplish the rhetoric. Unfortunately it won't, no matter whether Romney or Obama are in control.

Reason being, this is a cash grab; apart from rhetorically, this Affordable Health Bill(?) has nothing whatsoever to do with helping the less fortunate, it's about control and concentration of resources, in other words power in human hands. Just wait and see.

Also, in time each of us will answer to the Son of God, Jesus Christ; "...every knee will bow..."

Funny how that pisses people off who say there's nothing to it.

peaceably,
