The problem I have with *some* liberals is on display here in this thread. Marc wrote: "Guns are just tools... like screwdrivers. And if I wanted to kill somebody and was crazy, a screwdriver works fine too. Hell, so would my car for that matter." I knew exactly what he meant and I provided many links to back up that point of view. But, rather than trying to cede that point, Dan and Reg to come in and belittle Marc and completely derail the debate. Simply because Marc used the word "tools" instead of "weapons".

I do not like the hypocrisy, the elitism and the intolerance I see so often in many liberals.

Here's an example of the hypocrisy:

When Bush was running for president in 2000, one of Portland Maine's most notorious liberal lawyer dug up his 24 year old OUI arrest. Liberals, and their media lap dogs, were apoplectic. In 2008, here comes Obama with a long history of cocaine and marijuana use. The liberal reaction to that? (crickets) Why was Bush's OUI so much worse than Barry's history of drug abuse?? Was it because he was a democrat? A liberal? Maybe it was because he was black? Maybe it was all three.

I've gone on long enough. Life's too short for this.
