So, before I march on and post more modern horror stories about politics and the rotten people that currently have access to the handles of power and are jerking them every which way...let's visit this old chestnut and these guys who still look and sound wonderful.

And a little story...when I joined a band back in the mid 1980s with a dear old now deceased friend this was the very first tune he asked me to learn to sing. We actually broke into his family vacation home on the North Shore of Massachusetts and rehearsed it over and over for a few days while writing songs until going out onto the deck and playing it there where a crowd gathered and held up lighters on warm fall evening and cheered us on.

Ever since this song brings me back to that beautiful evening in Essex with a great friend, the smell of the sea and the stars above and some people I'd never met dancing and cheering...and the world seemed wide open and anything was possible.

When I saw and listened to this, I admit I teared up, recalling my lost friend and a moment that maybe...at least in some electric space in my mind, is still sailing through an ocean sky over the Massachusetts coast.
