Mick, trust me, I have my alarmist side, do I ever! And yes, I hear your calls for humor, and again, I'm with you. Just yesterday, I forwarded the Monty Python "A man with three buttocks" video to my daughter. She undoubtedly thought, I know, I've seen it, dad, you made me sit through Python, the Marx Brothers, Seinfeld, a bit of Fernwood 2 Nite, etc. Absurdist humor is absolutely essential to maintaining one's sanity! In fact, were I the president, sitting in the situation room, deciding on whether to invade Upper Volta, I'd first demand that the man with three buttocks sketch be viewed by all present. A slight digression here, can anyone think of humor on display in any of the world's holy books? And yes, the three world leaders you listed are narcissistic, evil, amoral, sons-of-bitches. A sad commentary on many of their citizens. Perhaps they need to ponder the man with the extra caboose! Peter T.
