Now, if the shoes were switched when it comes to the meddling of Republican representatives in the criminal investigations/indictments of Trump, Republicans would be pushing for congressional representatives and others to be charged with obstruction of justice or some other offense for interfering in criminal proceedings because if one stretches it, these meddling pols are trying to intimidate people like Bragg from prosecuting.
Secondly, let's go back to the retired army general Michael Flynn and his obviously traitorous behavior over the past six years - if these shoes were flipped, Republicans would be exploring some way to re-activate him and rescind his pension and benefits for his obviously traitorous behavior (now, I'm not sure if this could be actually done, but I am aware of a murder investigation where a man that left the army had his enlistment reinstated so he could be tried for the murder that occurred on an army base - he was convicted. The New Yorker did an article on this man but I can't remember the specifics of how his enlistment was reinstated, but it was and he was tried as an active-duty soldier).
But my point is, Democrats could be pulling some creative tactics, but refuse to do so (hell, the expulsion of the two Tennesee Democrats should be further proof of just how nasty Republicans are when it comes to getting their way).
