I know I see things from my bubble, which is not a bubble of bias, which is how so many people try to define our bubbles, but one of, "OK, I understand this and this is what that means based on the facts." and so it is a factual bubble...I think.

I'm sure there is a scale of how well people grasp these things that goes from NOT AT ALL to COMPLETELY and where a person is on that scale is probably dependent upon how much interest they have in the subject and how much time they have spent looking at it.

People like Trump and his segment of the Republican party pretty much depend upon people remaining very much on the NOT AT ALL or close to that side of the scale. They want people to just openly dismiss all politicians and media people as liars so that people will dismiss what they say and ignore it. To put in place instead, their own beliefs, without support of facts but with the support of their certainty that people have been lying to them...so that, in their minds justifies their dismissal of any facts or truth.

Then there are the people that just don't give a flying shit about this stuff, I can't blame them, and they just don't pay any attention out of a lack of interest or better things to do with their time. I mean who really wants to wade into a pool of morons? That's what many of these politicians are. It's kind of an insult to someone's intelligence when you listen to them. The Republican party has the worst of them but the Democrats have a bunch too and it just gets so ridiculous at times, at least I, sometimes wonder if I have lost my mind.
