Yes, this was part of what I wanted to ask you about, Andi. How do you see how people are feeling in Georgia? You live right in Marge Greene country, as I recall. Are people there happy with her? She is under attack by her Republican colleagues now and they are blaming her for destroying the party. I wonder how that kind of thing plays there, in her backyard.

I don't like any of the Republican candidates either, Haley seems to be the one rising at the moment, still with numbers in the teens and Trump way out in front. I know the Republicans that want to rid themselves of Trump want to get things down to just one person challenging Trump and so they want DeSantis, Christie, and Vivek to drop out asap. Honestly, those three guys can't challenge Trump, maybe Haley can because she is such a contrast to Donald. I think that is what they are counting on.

The Republican party, in my view, no longer exists as a major political party. Trump managed to splinter the party, so now it is his goon squad, a faction that want to get rid of him, and then a faction that just do their own thing no matter what anybody else is doing. End result, they can't and won't govern, they fight with each other, and they all backstab one another. Everybody in the party fears speaking up because if you do Trump's goons will start threatening to kill you and your family and his goons that are not potentially murderous nutjobs won't vote for you.

This is why a bunch of people are just walking away from government. Who wants to go and work with idiots like Marge, Jim Jordan, Comer, Boebert, Tuberville, Matt Gaetz...while Trump sits there threatening everybody from the sidelines with his little death squad? Basically, I think this is a major part of the point with these people, make working in government so horrible nobody except idiots like Marge Greene want the job.

Kevin McCarthy just quit and as I understand it, he is now going to go to work against MAGA candidates and he has some $14 million to spend on that. I believe it was/is the Bannon plan, fill state governments with morons and through that path, you can then fill the federal government with morons. Idiots helping other idiots get elected primarily by screwing up state governments. Must have seemed a good idea at the time, if the idiots you were working with followed the instructions you gave them.

Turns out, the big monkey wrench in this plan is idiots don't work well with other idiots and they can't follow instructions. Plus, hey, they are idiots and idiots make a lot of mistakes. Once these clowns rise to the level of a Marge Greene and discover that by doing and saying insane stuff they get regular guest spots on TV...well, now you have an idiot with their own agenda. So, they start attacking each other and this gets them on tv even more!

That's what is left of the Republican party. Infighting, backstabbing, can't keep track of what lie they are supposed to be telling clowns. It's why I find it so hard to believe we could lose to these people. That these idiots take down our country. I mean come on, this can't be the way we go out...total stupidity.

I don't know what kind of president Nikki Haley would make. Early on her campaign was pathetic. Someone straightened that out and she is now seemingly trying to appeal to independent voters as well as Republicans, which in reality makes her a much more viable candidate than Trump. I think her advantage over Trump and Biden is so many people seem to want neither of them and likely would take the younger option...particularly if she does not sound nuts.

Of course, she is not going to appeal to the hardcore MAGA nuts but why bother trying to do that. Ron DeSantis tried that, did not work. She is doing better because she is not trying to be Trump, I think they expect people to like that contrast.

My personal feeling is, Biden has done such a good job in such a short period of time, he deserves to run again if he wants to and feels up to it. It seems he does. The sad thing is, it appears a lot of Americans have no clue what he has accomplished and just see an old man. He has done so much so fast, I definitely would give him a second term and what he accomplished he did in a basically hostile and insane environment. So, imagine what he could do if the damn country and Republicans came to their senses.
