And it's not just MAGA people. My oldest son is a libertarian. He never even considered voting for trump and I'm making a little headway getting him to vote for Biden I think. Little by little. BUT he still says things like changing gun laws won't reduce gun violence and that the automatic weapons ban didn't do anything to reduce mass shootings or gun deaths in general. He is a highly educated 31 year old but unfortunately was raised by a father who lives and breathes guns and also in rural northwest Georgia where gunshots are heard on a daily basis (and I'm not kidding) and everyone has guns. It's a sickness to be so attached to guns...
