Hi Scott...
Ok - I'm sorry I missed your point and even if I might not agree with them, they could work. Now that we know that there are other routes - do you think that there should be compromises made to find a 3rd way? Or will all these `hot button` topics always stay as battleground issues?
Secondly - do you think that certain iniatives such as www.democracymarch.org do anything to forward the liberal and Democratic cause?
IMO I can understand why they exist (and Republicans would have done the same had Gore got in), but since the House and Senate are so evenly balanced - why don't they rally behind Daschle and Gephardt and possibly get their party into a place of advantage? If there was a Democratic wipe-out, I can see the validity of mass hysteria, hand wringing and the placement of Clinton's barkers to lead the DNC (McAuliffe)
Am I being clear enough...!?
Or if you want a nice rhetorical debate question "If after the Florida recount recount recount GW is still illegit to some Dems - should we also get to mark JFK up as the first illegitimate President of the 20th century? If GW is, then the Chicago ballot stuffing under Mayor Daly went toe-to-toe with anything that happened in Florida"
Yours Controversially,
Richard
