Re: Defending Radiohead
Genes opinions on Radiohead very much reflect my own. I have all the groups albums and with the possible exception of U2 I can think of no other bands with such critical and popular success that re-invent themselves or at least their sound with each subsequent release.That doesn't mean that they are the most diverse or influential group in popular music right now ,but to their credit they do not seem to be under the thumb of a record company A&R man to churn out radio fodder which there is so much of. Money,technology,and or studio trickery aside Radiohead have produced some brilliant music in the last 6+ years, and I for one hope they continue to.
