If you are pointing out that we should be happy because in reality we are living in a country true to it's past and consistent practices of shitty behavior, you are correct - we are not doing much that we have not done in the past - it's only a bit different nowadays (and in some ways, maybe it's even worse - philosophically speaking that is - yes, it is terrible murdering, exploiting and repressing large groups of people, but could it be even worse to murder the American mind or morph it into a fearful, jelly mass of no substance?).

But if you go back to my second rant, I did put in there that we perpetuate this mythical ideal of WHAT America was supposed to be founded upon, rather than how it was really developed through our carnage of all things non-white.
