Reg, the point Marc was making was, if someone wants to kill, he can use a gun, a car, A TOOL, a knife or even a rock. What's the common denominator in all of these killings??? It ain't guns. In all instances, the killer is obviously, how shall I put this, "troubled". Getting rid of guns will NOT stop the killing. "Troubled" people will find a way to carry out their heinous plans. I have a gun but it's there for self defense. We have a family that lives next door whose sons have been in and out of jail several times for various reasons; theft, B&E, drugs etc etc. *IF* they decide to pay me a visit and relieve me of some of my posessions, they will pay a price. That will probably not happen as my other neighbor and I will periodically hone our shooting skills in his back yard. I will not be a victim. That may be an option for you, but it isn't for me.
