Reg, there's nothing I love more than talking about what it's like here in NW Georgia and what we need to do! I was  out working today but thought, while I had a few minutes, that I'd post links for some articles that, while I am in the articles, I'm posting so you can get an idea of what it is like to live in a really conservative rural/metro Atlanta county in Marjorie Taylor Greene's district. The first article was written during December 2020, before J6 and before Ossoff and Warnock won their Senate runoffs. My marriage was not the only one that did not survive this whole MAGAt time period but it was still limping along during these articles.

This article was from the state primaries in 2022 and was written when a reporter visited one of the Paulding Democrats meetings where we had a variety of candidates speaking. This article was written in the Fall of 2022. It just so happens that Brianna who was interviewed for the article writes hundreds of postcards for the Paulding County Democrats at election time. Her husband is one of our main Sign Ninjas, putting campaign signs out all over the county.

These articles give insight into what it’s like here in Paulding County, the bluest county in Marge’s district. The republicans here LOVE her, although she has been booed in a parade or 2. I’m trying to find that footage. During a Christmas parade, she once had CHILDREN carrying signs that said “Let’s Go Brandon.” Given that that means “F*ck Joe Biden” many people were quite upset about that. They were mainly Democrats though, so nothing was done to address the situation. Just like many feel about trump, they feel she is sticking it to “the man”, whatever that means, and not realizing how much they, themselves, are actually hurt.
