A friend of mine told me a story about a friend of hers when they were at a big rock-n-roll get together with their dates, I believe in England. Her friend all of a sudden started jumping up and down and said, "look, there's Mark Knopfler, the greatest guitar player ever!" to her date who happened to be Eric Clapton. They weren't together much longer.
