Hey Pat - I don't think EEE is clamoring for the US to fight a PC war. You're making up that term to make his argument seem ridiculous. I think we just want our country to at least adhere to the Geneva Convention...
Rule 1 Geneva Convention:
1. Soldiers wear uniforms

That was for a war where the soldiers wear uniforms. There are no rules of war for these guys. Should the Geneva Convetion be followed. Absolutely not, but the PC pussies will persist to the point they give undue rights to these guys.  Dan what does it take for you guys to understand the mentality of someone who loads up bombs on themselves and walks into a public place to kill or maim whoever is there? so we can't turn around and moan when someone else doesn't - or worse. And to be quite honest - the real debate shouldn't be anywhere near Gitmo - it should be back to why we're in a war in the first place. Still knowing what you know now - you still support our invasion. I don't. So anything connected to this war - we'll never agree on. And if I recall - I think you once said that if no "smoking gun" was found - you wouldn't be in favor of this war either. It wasn't - and you still are.
Do I agree we should stay there? No.

 Did I support the invasion based upon Intel?  Not anymore

Would we have eventually had to fight this war anyway? Yes
