Dale, *** ...why do we have to decimate a people to free them? ***Depending on what sources you read, it has been suggested that many, many Iraqi
children have already died from the sanctions placed up on Iraq over the past 12 years.
And there are many other ways to decimate a people than that of missles, such as
pollution, disease and malnutrition. And again, we do not know what casualties have
occurred thus far or how many will result until the end of this battle. And have you ever thought that like the first Gulf War, only the accurate deployment of
ordinance has been released?******* "Doesn't it make you feel better that thousands of Iraqi soldiers are
surrendering without a shot? Doesn't it make you feel good to know this will all
be over in a short time with minimal loss of life on both sides? Probably not."*******Your above quote is terrible and outrageous. It is getting pretty damn tiring hearing the sort of attacks people like you make on dissenting opinions. The practice of demonizing others gets
pretty ridiculous and is quite offensive. I am sick and tired of the right saying those of us
with an opposing view are unpatriotic and do not care about life, especially our own
soldiers.******" This must really be pissing off those of you on the left. You're now running
out of legitimate reasons to complain."*******So I guess concerns of creating many new bin Ladens is not a legitmate reason? Or what
this new Bush et al doctrine means to our future in the world? What is going to happen
when the US really needs a true coalition of nations in the future? For example, in the
dealing with North Korea? Or what is it going to mean when the rest of the world wakes
up and sees that maybe our gunboat diplomacy isn't in their best interest as once
thought? This war has many far reaching implications that appear to be oblivious to the
Bush juanta and we all could be paying for them later on.
