...this decade by far was one of the most rewarding for me as a music fan. I discovered so many great talents during 00's and would say that it trumped the 90's. The level of sophistication, musicality and easier exposure in discovering artists all factored in, allowing me to listen to more music, see more music live, etc. Sure record sales may have slumped big time, but my enthusiasm towards listening and finding new music has grown by leaps and bounds due to the internet and portable devices and a greater understanding of the system and how to best use it.
