I like a walk in the woods as much as anyone, but what's the appeal in killing something while doing it?

And I do understand that there are some truly poor folks who need to put food on the table, and yes, sometimes we must cull the herd, but honestly, just because your daddy and your grandaddy engaged in it, doesn't mean you have to. Some traditions really should go away, like slavery, cake in the face at wedding celebrations, the running of the bulls, singing along with Sweet Caroline at Red Sox games, playing any Neil Diamond records, religion...to name a few.
