That they are mostly uneducated makes it very difficult to know what to say or how to approach the subject with them.  They can suffer the very same grievances, but because their's are white grievances, they are more important, and foster no empathy whatsoever for their black brethren.

We absolutely must hear them out, understanding and feeling their pain as if it were our own, as we have with Black Lives Matter. See if "Jews will not replace us" is an unconscious plea to share the wealth being accumulated faster than during the roaring 1890s and 1920s, when it was mostly Jewish businessmen.

Lacking education, they have not read deeply enough to have experienced making analogies and new inferences from someone else's point of view. They have not become that new person we become each time we read a good book. The empathy they lack outside their own family and social circle is a product of that experience they've never had.

It isn't likely we can get them to read, so how do we duplicate the experience for them.  How can we let them learn to emotionally share black tragedy, unless we change our education curriculum before college.

Change it so that inappropriate, not thought out, values learned at home do not become guiding principles of adulthood.

WHAT you say, I can't teach my own kids the values I've grown up with and cherish, values which if everyone else felt, --felt mind you-- the same, the world would be a helluva lot better place in which to live.

I seem to be saying the generation driving their pickups and motorcycles to Trump rallies cannot be reached , cannot be taught empathy for all human beings regardless.

The teacher might be Trump himself.  After he is defeated in November, his and his kids financial dealings will come to light, both before and during his White House residency. Pulling the wool away from their eyes might be just the enlightening experience members of his base will need to admit, "how could we have been so duped."

I'm assuming here white college educated suburban voters who voted Trump last time will have realized their mistake by Nov 3rd.

I may not see it, but most of you will see the birth of a new nation in your lifetime. Planet threatening problems, pandemics, and yes, human tragedy of any kind to anyone will require and obtain a level of empathy and cooperation not seen before.

Perhaps changes in preadolescent schooling will nudge it along.
