I think elected Republicans get stuck in a spot where they do not know what to do because they are afraid to condemn the actions of Trump no matter how wacko or illegal they are. So, they either spout idiotic and ridiculous excuses for him or they try to hide somewhere to avoid having to comment at all. Only a small handful of them will actually come out and say "Yeah, Trump is a criminal." 

When you talk about Trump supporters, if you mean regular people, I have no idea where they are coming from. I guess there are the loons that follow someone like Marjorie Greene as she screams about "Defund the FBI!" and that sort of stupidity but I think Trump is bleeding support so badly right now he is never going to be president again. 

I think one of the most laughable lies that Republicans say is that Democrats don't want Trump to run again, they absolutely want Trump to run again. Trump is the only Republican presidential candidate that they poll favorably against. He is the one candidate they can beat. They would love him to run again. 

It's Republicans that don't want Trump to run again, they want someone like Ron DeSantis or Nikki Haley. Those candidates poll like they would wipe the floor against a Biden or Harris. The Democrats need Trump to run he is the only guy that can screw things up for the Republicans. 

Basically, who cares what I think though, we need to hear what someone like Marc thinks. He was a two time Trump supporter and so it would be more interesting what he thinks about this shit show than what I think.
