This leaves me wondering, what would the interface between Trump and Heritage look like? Are they his handlers or does he see them as stooges he can con into supporting him?
Probably as nakedly venal as his response about Elon Musk and EVs - I have no choice but to support the guy who likes me. (Which would probably be Musk's answer about Trump as well).
Come to think of it, "venal" probably gives him too much credit. Are admiration and attention actually currencies?
