For one thing, they are ONE group - and primarily that of a white, entitled party that thinks it is the chosen people of the US.  In a way, these fuckers are just like Nazis in the way of how they view the purity of their party - if you are not all in, you are a mongrel.

The last couple of weeks have really made this clear to me - their behavior clearly indicates these cult members think they are the heirs to America - the documentary The Sixth also made this apparent to me. (In one scene, one of the insurrectionists is demanding a police officer hand over his badge because according to the insurrectionist, it was HIS badge - he owned it, as did he own the police officer, his gun, his equipment, et cetera.  These fuckers think they OWN it all - now, extrapolate that concept to the nth degree to get an understanding of how these people see MAGA.

Also, I think many, many people simply do not understand or appreciate their pathology of being the future and rightful owners of the US.

A couple of year ago I was watching this one crime drama and in it, this small group of Italian mobsters beat the hell out of this guy and in a way as if they had the right to do so. While I was watching it, my thoughts were about how some people have no problem using violence, while for others violence is much different.    And then it struck me - to some, their pathology is that they have the belief of having the intrinsic right to use violence and that is how MAGA cult members are - they have this deep seeded belief of the righteousness of moving forward in any way they can because they are the legitimate Americans. 

Sadly, after all this time, I have come to the conclusion that the signs of this mess were readily available and so many people, including myself, overlooked them in our arrogance of believing truth, democracy, and justice are American ideals that will never cease, leading to us getting caught with our pants down big time.
