Speaking of Media whoredom, I read the military hired the same guy to handle the war PR that the Republicans used for the 2000 election recount.
As for the Accuracy of the bombing, in the last gulf war, the claim was the same - accuracy and surgical strikes - after the war it was revealed that the accuracy rate was 40%. We will be hearing more on this, I'm sure.
And finally, the protestors - I find it amusing that the peace activists can assemble a crowd of tens of thousands using the internet and grass roots organizing in several cities simultaniously, while Glenn Beck can only get a few thousand at a time using a constant barrage of free radio advertising and local station sponsership. His first rally was in Cleveland, and as soon as it was announced, the station that runs his show (AM, 80,000 Watts, covering five states) was running announcements and calls for volunteers every other breath for two weeks - they got about 8,000 people.
