Yeah, I gotta agree with you there Kent. If you like Led Zeppelin you'll need to see and hear this stuff. I went yesterday to a listening/viewing of the material. I didn't stay for all of it. I listened to good majority of the cd set though and they sound amazing. It's great to finally get to hear them in their prime, in a live setting, playing at the peak of their powers. To hear John Bonham bashing away, coming at you from a multitude of speakers, was mind blowing. Page's performance is so far above the "Song Remains The Same" movie/live stuff that it's as if he's a different guy. I guess they were exhausted when those New York shows were recorded for the film so the performance suffered.

  I did not see much of the dvd material but what I caught was very cool. The whole thing brought back a lot of memories because that music was everywhere when I was a kid. I had not listened to them in a very long time so it was quite a trip.
