Pat, a couple of corrections--the Django release wasn't postponed, just the "premiere." FWIW, I saw it, and it is ultraviolent, but it was so bad the only violence it made me want to commit was to whomever greenlighted Tarantino on this mess.

Also, "assault rifles" are generally considered to be military grade full automatics, and therefore not available to the general public without a lot of effort and money. The anti-gun crowd and the media overuse the phrase "assualt weapon", which confuses a lot of people. "Assault weapon" relates directly the ban passed in the 90's which refers to a specific list of firearms.
