I already told you the measures I'd be willing to talk about Reg that might actually work. We already tried the AWB for 10 years remember that? and it didn't solve a damned thing. You call me a low IQ individual (nice), but wasn't it Einstein that said something about doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results? Whose got the low IQ here? Except that I know you don't (at least I didn't think so), but you ARE making yourself look bad because you're buying this administration's little ploy no questions asked. What do you think Eric and Hillary's plan was to send those very same weapons into Mexico (somewhere around 20,000 apparently) and then blame us? Fast and Furious?

No, you want law abiding gun owners to give up guns that that you neither know or understand because of a couple of whack jobs that had no business having access to one. In the case of the mother that got shot in the face in CT that had one available to her son Adam Lanza, the problem was obvious. Bad parenting. This sort of shit didn't happen for years and years when we were younger and we are talking about the most popular rifle in Ameriaca you want to go after and there are millions of them (in legal civilian hands) out there. But it is very rare that you hear about them being used in crimes. But I'll bet Uncle Joe's recommendations to our new Lord and Savior don't really address that tomorrow. We can't call our voters bad parents even if they are after all right? And it seems like low hanging fruit, but we've already tried and millions will be punished for it. How is that right?

So we should all be reduced to the least common denominator? Sorry no. Your party does it all the time. And you support it, make US pay more for the miscreants. Whether it is kids drugged out on anti-depressents (or whatever parents are medicating them with) or section 8 single moms with 8 kids sucking off the government tit. We have Or are supposed to unquestioningly) to sacrifice for that without question. That was the point of my spoon analogy and I am sorry but it is very relevant because nobody takes responsibility for themselves anymore and that seems to include you. Everybody (that doesn't own a gun) blames the gun for this tragedy. Actions have consequences. But a gun won't just jump up out of nowhere and shoot somebody by itself. We call it personal responsibility, but you've been indoctinated to call society's responsibility.

Any gun is simply a tool and nothing more, but your father didn't teach you well enough to know what that means. Because he probably didn't know himself. A gun can only kill with the intent of a shooter. And if you don't want to get fat, you can always choose to leave the spoon in the drawer. And if you don't want to kill, leave the gun in the safe. It is not a hard concept.

You really do believe what you've been sold by the media about NRA members. I thought it was wrong in your party to use stereotypes? You think a bunch a redneck dunces that are about to go full retard and try to assemble a red state militia to create a full on revolution. And you actually said that. Well, I am sure there are a few that have thought about that, but I would say there is still a way to go before that happens.

We do live different lives I'm sure Reg. And I think we should both respect each others lives. My more personal passion/hobby is horses and me and my girlfriend like to take our 4 horses and go with our other horse friends camping and riding. And it is funny to me that people (always liberals) sometimes ask me why I need such a big pickup truck. I don't drive it for any other purpose but you would automatically classify me as a redneck waster of carbon (Al Gore style but have you ever seen that hypocrites house?) if you were to see me driving it next to you on a city street at a red light because it isn't exactly fuel efficient. But each of those horses weigh over 1,000 lbs each and that doesn't include the saddles and other camping gear we take with us. But should we be demonized because there is no way hell we can use a Prius to get the job done? I don't think so, but I'll bet you do. So maybe we should outlaw horses too?

No Reg, you are pushing an agenda that is incorrect, you just don't know it. And it seems like the majority of America believes what you do. Still doesn't make it right though.

btw, did your Dad also teach you to play ball like this? I'm betting so.
