No, we were lucky and did not lose power but did get close to three feet of snow.

Honestly, I am a New Englander at heart and I like the snow but I'm happy to own a snow blower...ha...which I keep next to my gun safe with my 7.9 weapons and enough ammo to fight WW3 or take over a tyrannical government...you know whichever I need to do first.

I have not really followed baseball much either since the Sox traded Freddy Lynn to the Angels when I was a kid...teaching me that at the professional level it is as much a business as a sport. Still love a trip to Fenway though to catch a game in the summer.

Here's a Red Sox story though to keep us warm...

A friend of mine is quite a chef, meaning that's how he makes his living, and he was brought in to talk about becoming a chef for the Red Sox -- a friend of his was in charge of the hiring process. He was interested in the job but the interview took place shortly after the "Great Beantown Fried Chicken and Beer Scandal" and during the interview he made a joke about having a great fried chicken recipe...it was greeted with dead silence. They never called him back which he figured had to do with the joke and the fact that his resume showed he had been working in New York the last several years. He believes they stamped "Yankee Fan" on his resume and filed it.
