This is still an extremely close election. How, I have no clue, but don't be fooled and don't get lulled into a sense of "Hey, we got this. Look at their campaign. It's non-existent. Look at how excited everyone is. etc. etc."

Y'all are right, the RNC ground game is virtual non-existent. When Lara Trump took over as co-chair of the RNC, must of the money coming into the RNC was funneled into trump's legal expenses through whatever accounts they needed to do that with. They closed many local offices that were doing voter outreach to previously overlooked groups like voters of color, women voters, etc. They diverted all money from state parties and therefore to county parties to the legal expenses. Now that doesn't mean that state and local committees don't have ANY money because they can raise their own money but they don't have that support from the national committee. This means that they may or may not pick up new voters put they won't have much trouble keeping their ol' faithful MAGAt voters.

Interestingly, I spoke to a friend just this morning who, on and immediately after J6 swore she would not vote for Tangerine Weirdo any more. Today her story was J6 was not really a coup attempt. They didn't bring enough people, there weren't enough guns there; it wasn't organized well enough, and on and on. And guess what, Project 2025 is not something that TW is going to use "because he said he wasn't going to." Also, just so you know she said she is not a MAGAt. MAGAts are "fringe" people. The weirdo people. I have a different opinion but.... These people that are still going to vote for TW
