Icon Something struck me today - Power of the individual interpretation of word definitions......

Today, with the recent headlines of how former military people are stating Trump is a fascist and desired the type of generals Hitler had, I felt baffled by the reactions of those on the right - some soft peddled his comments, while a few others joined in how who wouldn't want the type of generals Hitler had and then something struck me that sort of made a bit of despicable sense - it is the power behind how individual and like groups interpret the meanings of words.

I mean, my first thought was, "How could any democracy enjoying American NOT be offended by such behavior" and then that led me to sort of understand why these MAGA clowns see such things as "virtues" and how we opponents of MAGA have kind of overlooked things like this.  Frankly, what autocratic dictator-want-to-be would not want generals who would be willing to either carry out one's orders to the fullest extent or eat a bullet?

For example, those on the Left see fascism for what it is - an autocratic and oppressive dictator, while those within MAGA see it as somewhat of a strict disciplinarian father (and throw in the belief that those within MAGA will never receive the ire of a Trump).

Hell, to be even more frank, I bet a large portion of the MAGA clowns don't even know an accurate definition of a fascist or fascism.

I mean, let's not forget - these are the same types willing to parade around with a Kotex on their ear and a diaper over their pants.
