Welcome aboard. Teaching intelligent design in school isn’t a road I want to go down either. Nor should we be teaching theories on evolution or the big bang. I don’t think you can pin the evisceration of our schools on Bush. Our daughter is getting a fine education but a key component of that is a child who wants to learn and parents who encourage her. I don’t have much to say about the torture prisons other than do you suppose those amount to any worse than the indiscriminate firing upon and burning of villages in Vietnam which the guy you supported in the last election took part in? You know…where the women and children were killed? War isn’t pretty. What is a suicidal energy policy? I’m not sure what you mean but if you’re referring to our dependence on oil I would agree that that is suicidal. Maybe you didn’t listen to Bush’s speech a couple nights ago but he also mentioned this. We need to find another way to fuel our lives. What are you doing in that regard? Didn’t you say a while back that you drove a Grand Cherokee or some such suv? That sort of surprised me to hear you say that given your concerns about oil and the environment. Do you worry about the environment because you’re concerned about the air you breathe? Do you still smoke? Last I checked our forests were overgrown and ripe for fires which would lead to even more loss of timber had they been more properly logged and managed. What do you think? Did you happen to see a photo of Bush with an axe in his hands chopping down some trees and that’s why you’re concerned about the forests? Please forgive me but I find much of what you say overly dramatic and not very objective.
