Cassandra,

My wife raised four foster kids for five years when she was in her mid twenties. All four of them were special needs children with two later being diagnosed as schizophrenic. In my first marriage I raised two stepsons but I never adopted them as their father was involved in their lives. I'm currently a stepfather to my daughter. We sponsor children in Africa and in Indonesia.

I'm fine with lesbian and gay couples adopting special needs and crack babies.

I don't have a problem with the death penalty for somebody who has murdered somebody else. There can be no comparison between a murderer and an innocent child in the womb.

Why so much anguish over the decision to follow through with an abortion? Is it possible that people are wrestling with what they know is wrong but we've got courts which tell them it's okay? It's nothing more than a guilty conscience they're experiencing.

Yes, I agree we should be attempting to reduce the numbers of abortions beginning with late term, or partial birth abortions. Do you also feel that those should continue to be allowed and if you do can you give me some examples of when they're needed. I'm speaking of aborting babies which are viable outside the womb. Thanks.
