It occurs to me that my post may have come off a little snobby... That was not at all my intention. It's just that this is stuff that, for better or worse, I've been positively steeping in for my whole life. I dont put any greater value judgement on knowing this stuff than I do carpentry, or whatever. Less, in fact, but it's a sad truth that people don't know this stuff, and that people should should know this stuff. It should be taught in the schools, and it never will be, because the people who commit atrocities in a country's name will never allow the general public the opportunity to truly understand the techniques of mass manipulation. I don't place myself above anybody, but I do appreciate the value of expertise. I rely on experts all the time, and am grateful for their expertise. Anyways, sorry.
