Lenny Bruce once predicted that reefer would be legalised by 1965, because, all the lawyers he
knew smoked it.I hate to disagree but reefer will never be legalised. It doesn't create sufficient social disfunction
requiring social services intervention.Euthanasia should never be legal. Once it becomes 'institutionalized' the state will begin deciding
who gets to continue to live based upon their social value. The language is already abundantly
evident in social management discourse and rationalizations for why this or that program must be
installed and foisted upon us, obesity comes to mind.Frankly, euthanasia is just another smoke screen issue. And the people behind it are the ones who
want to decide who's worth living. Anybody can kill themselves with a tad bit of research. A couple of household chemicals, ingestion
of this or that common plant. The fact is they haven't the guts or they want some dubious social
acceptance. For crying out loud, you're killing yourself, who gives a shit who whispers what
afterwards. The other fact is people don't want to die, so they suffer on, hoping, like a recent event
I am recovering from(& I'm ok with dying, what of those who don't have any assurances).peaceably
