This is not a very good argument for supporting abortion, Al. Never once did she suggest adoption as an option to an unwanted pregnancy. It's not a very objective paper to say the least. The doctor gives some fringe examples of women who have had abortions and wants us to believe that these few she speaks of are exemplary of abortions as a whole when it's doubtful that's the truth. The vast majority of these and any abortions are for convenience pure and simple.

There was an interesting quote in the article about a woman who is raped and in turn kills her assailant...did you catch that? Here's the quote..."Bizarrely, if a woman kills her rapist within one hour of the assault, she receives legal immunity - but she goes to jail if she terminates a pregnancy resulting from the same attack." I think I'm supposed to feel that this is somehow very twisted thinking when my gut reaction is...helloooo...the rapist was killed and the innocent life was spared. Maybe you could share some of your enlightenment with me?

The doctor was carefull to add, "I would emphasize that abortion not be used as a method of family planning" with a wink and a nod I'm sure as all good abortion supporters declare.
