Dale is likely too modest to post what he sent me in a PM, but suffice it to say he has made a substantial donation to the Wounded Warrior group that provides support for soldiers and families injured by this criminally insane war (my editorial).

Dale has a good point. We, those of us against the war, need to do more than impeach the President and lock him and his entire cabinet up and put them to work on a Georgia chain gang. We need to remember that now, and very soon, we're going to have thousands of damaged, PTSD'd ex-soldiers back home and likely the VA will not do a better job for them than it did for returning Vietnam vets. That means thousands of new homeless, alcoholic, drug-amped vets filling our shelters, jails, and emergency rooms. Give David's "Stranger" another listen....

So I would echo Dale's point about supporting troops however you can. The best way, I still contend, is to defund this mess and bring them home now.

PS. I also believe that writing a check is a good way to help out but it doesn't take the place of putting yourself in the line of fire for your beliefs.
