I've re-written this post probably 10 times now and I'm having a hard time expressing my thoughts on this. There are just too many senarios to consider; bad kid/good parents, bad kid/bad parents, good kid/good parents, good kid/bad luck, incest, rape etc. Think of all the different combinations here. But none of that should matter. The bottom line is the parents should be involved. I find it hard to believe any of you who agree with this ruling would have no problem with this decision if it were your daughter. I'm sure you're all good parents (or will be someday), but put yourselves in this position. You've done everything you can to raise your daughter right. Then one day.....ooops. Now what? Would you want her to come to you for help? Or would you want her to go to the clinic and deal with this alone?
