It actually is based on logic. You are involving your own moral and ethical bias and that's why it makes no sense to you. When I say I agree with the court ruling it does not equate to "I agree with 11 years olds being able to have an abortion without the involvement of the parent." and that I support that notion. I have stated that in everyone of my posts on this I think.

From a standpoint of national security you are correct. From the standpoint of protecting us from ourselves in our own personal lives you are incorrect. You need to study government and history. It seems you're buying into the "you gotta be politically correct" nonsense when you make a statement like this Pat.

I'm not sure how you got to know so much about the thought process an 11 year old girl goes through but I'd be more inclined to hear out Andrea or Kelly on that point.

I for one am not making that arguement. I'm making the same arguement I began with which still is this is not an area where govenment should play a part.

The first one is just another dumb question that does not relate to the debate, the one about buying beer is laughable. Is that an argument or are you kidding?
