I don't know if Frontline is the show I saw on PBS yesterday but it was discussing how the torcher techniques were coming from upper levels of the chain of command. I realize that this is wrong but consider a few things. Sorry if I reiterate what Dale is saying but:
1. The Geneva Convention does not apply to Terrorists.
2. If more pictures are released from Abu Grab debacle it will damage the U.S. more and endanger the lives of soldiers in Iraq.
3. If we have Senators determining torture techniques it will become such a cluster-fech that it will be totally ineffective.
In the end how many of these people actually died? I realize bad behavior on one side does not justify it on another but I had to sit in amazement that they were cutting innocent Americans heads off while we were doing horrible things to the Koran and we got more press. Are we trying to solve a problem or slime an administration?
