the writing's on the wall here, spray painted in flourescent neon lettering. kinda hard to miss, unless you're still into the ol' Manifest Destiny mental wavelength (dahlink, that's soooo Old America). we have to have the courage to accurately assess and admit all of our motives, not just the nice soundbite-y 'freedom and justice' angles. again, that's just not happening. this admin's previous deceptions and secretiveness has not left them with a huge reserve of believability and trustworthiness,.
i can see the hawks' reasonings for doing this...but can they see (and admit the truths of) the other side's concerns?
