Yes, yes, yes, Gore got more votes than Bush (sigh). We know!
But according to our Constitution it's the Electoral College votes that determine who wins the Presidency. It's been this way for hundreds of years. Just because one guy gets the most of the popular vote does not mean we should disregard the constitution and "allow" him to become president. We can't go changing the rules in the middle of the game just because we don't like who won.
